Pinnacle Aquatics products will play a prominent role in the CBS hot TV drama CSI: NY on Wednesday, October 3 at 10PM. In an episode entitled “The Deep”, the team of crime scene investigators will discover a body in New York harbor, which will lead to discovery of an international assassination plot. The CSI team and police rescue dives will be outfitted in Pinnacle Evolution and Freedom drysuits, various undergarments, and several different Pinnacle gloves. Other characters will use Polar and Extreme semi-dry suits, Arctic wetsuits, and various models of Pinnacle boots, gloves and hoods.
Though they do not appear on camera, all of the safety divers, underwater cameramen, and other aquatic personnel on the show use Pinnacle products.
Pinnacle products were partly chosen because of their photogenic good looks and how they appeal to the camera’s eye, but mainly because the producers of the show strive for realism in all aspects of the script, and Pinnacle is the preferred brand of more and more search and rescue teams across North America and the world. Pinnacle wet and dry suits, undergarments, and accessory products are currently in use by at least three branches of the US military, two other US governmental agencies, and countless number of city, county, and state run fire, police, and EMS teams. In addition, these products are used by close to a dozen navies around the world.
The Pinnacle products that appear on this week’s episode of CSI: NY will all be on display at the DEMA Show in Orlando beginning October 31 in booth #1903. Pinnacle will also be displaying the more than 75 other products currently in the product line, and several new wetsuits, boots, bags, skins, rash guards, and accessory products that will join the product line in 2008.
