Scuba Emporium is experiencing continued growth with the start of the summer dive season. The new Florida store, strategically-located near Ft. Lauderdale, Scuba Emporium-Florida has seen a strong up-surge in business since relocating from Pembroke Pines last month. The new store is located at 4678 N University Drive Lauderhill Florida.
According to Patrick Hammer co-owner of Scuba Emporium, the new location boasts a retail sales area of 7,500 square feet, opportunities to experience a variety of local diving and easy access to the “Hammer Time” dive vessel which frequents all of the popular local dive sites.
“We’re pleased with how well the Florida location continues to do,” Hammer said. “Our staff offers exceptional service, and expertise. As an added bonus, we bring divers tanks directly to the boat for them – something that means a lot to both local and traveling divers.”
With the coming “mini-Lobster” season fast approaching, Scuba Emporium will be offering convenient and economical opportunities including a limited “mid-night dive” for qualified divers.
Hammer said that Scuba Emporium Illinois in Orland Park also is going strong heading into the summer season. “We’ve having more people than ever want to experience some of the local diving sites,” Hammer said. “Of course, our travel programs also remain strong – especially divers who want to dive with us at Scuba Emporium-Florida.”
The PADI IDC programs offered by Scuba Emporium are also in strong demand, Hammer said. These elite programs, which are offered in Arizona, Illinois, Florida, St. Lucia and Jamaica, are staffed by two PADI Platinum Course Directors.
Hammer said the dual Scuba Emporium locations were proving to be a strong attraction for IDC candidates. “They love the idea of starting their training in Illinois and finishing in Florida,” he points out.
