The sinking of the Oriskany was apparently the subject of a documentary, which is very cool.

The documentary by Parallax Films, detailing the preparation and reefing of the Oriskany, is scheduled to air, on the Discovery Channel, on September 26, 2006.

Unfortunately, all but one of the cameras, they had secured on the carrier during its sinking, were knocked out by the scuttling charges.

It should be a good show, hopefully in HD.

UPDATE, it looks like you might wait unti the 27th or 28th of September. And here are the show listings:
