I am new to this site and realized there is not much about Costa Rica. Playas del Coco has great diving. take a look at http://www.richcoastdiving.com
Especially Catalina islands. Last week the divers came back and said if the dive only lasted about 10 minutes it would have been fine, because in the first 10 minutes we saw. Giant manta's, a big school of grunts, loads of spotted eagle rays, some white tipo sharks on the bottom and a few stingrays here and there. After a 55 minute dive, the divers were ecstatics!!!
